SGCC Indian Office Elected as Chair of India Chinese Chamber of Commerce

The Economic and Commercial Counselor??s Office of the Embassy of the People??s Republic of China in the Republic of India held the Election of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of India on December 17, 2011. Counselor Peng Gang introduced the latest situation in India regarding its politics, economy, bilateral cooperation as well as the chamber??s election. According to the agenda, SGCC Indian Office was elected as the Chairman. Huawei, ZTE, and Sinosteel were elected as Vice Chairmen.  ZTE was the Secretary-General while SEPCO1 and Air China were Deputy Secretary-General.

The India Chinese Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the understanding the communication between Chinese enterprises and their Indian counterparts, expanding the economic and trade cooperation with India, and safeguarding the rights of Chinese enterprises.
